Event-Based SLAM for Logistical Operations, Warehouses and Delivery - With an Aim at Improving Efficiency in Real World Situations
Summary
My research interests centre on the development of complex, reliable, and robust robotic systems, with a focus on Simultaneous Localisation and Mapping (SLAM) across a range of applications. I am especially interested in building systems that can operate dependably in diverse and challenging industrial environments, bridging the gap between theory and practical deployment. I am also motivated by full stack robot development, including hardware, software, and design, and how these components interact to produce the most effective and resilient systems. I also have an interest in outreach, particularly in promoting STEM and encouraging engagement with the field.
